Indication of the place of production of the goods (boundaries of the geographical object): Kokshetau city Description of quality, reputation and/or other characteristics The plant for the production of concrete paving slabs (Kokshetau paving stone) with elements of the national Kazakh ornamentation operates in the city of Kokshetau, Akmola region. The company "ARLAN STROY 2018" has been operating since 2018 in the field of production of paving stones with elements of Kazakh ornament. Kokshetau paving stone is in demand among a large number of consumers, as the tiles are easy and quick to lay, perfectly cleanable, highly durable, resistant to wear and tear and climatic influences. The technology of paving stone production, although simple, has its own peculiarities. Kokshetau paving stone is manufactured industrially from a mixture of cement, aggregate and water, which ensures reliability and durability. In the production of cement-sand mixture use sand and crushed stone mining is carried out in the Akmola region near the city of Kokshetau, the properties of which have proven themselves in the construction market. Sand is the main component of concrete, the sand used is selected in strict accordance with the requirements of GOST. Sand mining is carried out by open-pit method with the help of special machinery and subsequent sorting of the material. If necessary, right at the site of development, additional work is carried out to clean the sand from stones and unwanted impurities by sifting and washing the rock. Sand mined at the quarry of Akmola region is characterized by the amount of impurities in the sand, which is 3%. In the sand grains with fraction up to 0.14 mm is no more than 10% of the total mass, from 5 mm to 10 mm - no more than 5%, and grains with a fraction greater than 10 mm are absent at all. The main grain size ranges from 1.3 mm to 3.5 mm. The content of foreign impurities (clay, silt, lime, dust) does not exceed 3% of the mass. No less stringent requirements apply to crushed stone. A prerequisite is the use of crushed stone for the production of paving slabs only of fine fraction. Quarries of Akmola region meet these standards. The size of grains of crushed stone does not exceed 10 mm. This is a necessary factor to ensure the workability of the concrete mixture into the molds, which, as a rule, have small dimensions. In addition to the above-mentioned advantages concerning the connection with the place of origin, aesthetic appearance plays a not insignificant role. To date, Kazakh manufacturers are increasingly using Kazakh ornamentation as a brand recognition. From ancient times ornaments served as decoration and amulets for Kazakhs. Their elements indicated belonging to a clan or zhuz, they were read as a message. Kazakh pattern, like any other, is unique in its own way. The art of ornament is an independent type of artistic creation, which expresses the thinking of nomadic peoples. Paving stones are a durable base for paving streets and roads. For centuries, paving stones have been used not only as a material for road improvement, but also as a decorative element. Paving stone with elements of Kazakh ornament is one of the most interesting and bold solutions for sidewalk. Attractive ornamentation allows you to create a beautiful sidewalk composition. Paving stone with elements of Kazakh ornament will be an excellent solution if you need to lay a durable, functional and beautiful path or area. Unlike asphalt, paving slabs are environmentally friendly material. It allows you to unrecognizably ennoble the area adjacent to the office, store, restaurant, hotel, bank, as well as any urban landscapes, sidewalks, sidewalks, parks and squares, highways and squares, giving familiar places quite respectable and recognizable look. Paving stones can not only beautify the urban landscape, but also bring a decent economic benefit. Puddles and mud do not accumulate on the areas covered with it. The process of manufacturing paving stones is carried out according to the norms and rules, which include the following stages: preparation of concrete, molding of slabs of the required size and shape from the concrete mixture, seasoning of products in the slabs, drying, removal from the molds, storage and warehousing. Paving stone is made of concrete mass: Portland cement - 23 %, granite crushed stone - 57 %, sand - 20 %, water - 40 % of the mass of all dry components in total, coloring pigment - 700 mg, plasticizer - 0.5 % of the mass of cement, dispersant - up to 90 grams. The raw material is of very high quality, as the proportions of each of the components are strictly observed. The production facility is fully equipped with the necessary equipment to produce paving stones of high quality. Concrete complies with construction norms and standards. Water absorption is determined by testing the specimens. The surface of the samples is cleaned from dust, dirt and traces of grease using a wire brush or abrasive stone. Testing is carried out by placing the specimens in a container filled with water, so that the water level in the container was above the upper level of the laid specimens by about 50 mm. The specimens are placed on pads so that the height of the specimen is minimized. Samples are weighed after every 24 hours of water absorption on conventional or hydrostatic scales with an error of no more than 0.1 %. To ensure that the paving stone does not lose its operational properties and marketable appearance, optimal conditions for its storage are created. A level, well-ventilated area with a roof or other shelter on top to avoid moisture is selected for temporary placement of the material. During cold weather, the tiles are placed indoors to prevent snow from falling on them and further formation of ice on the surface. A dry warehouse with good air circulation is used for long-term storage of paving stones. Unpacked paving stones are stored face to face, back to back. Wooden pallets - structures with dimensions of 1x1.2 m or 1.2 by 0.8 m, on which up to 10 square meters of tiles are placed, are used for transportation of paving stones. On the pallets tiles are placed face to face. When forming the load, it is carefully wrapped with polyethylene film. Transportation is carried out by heavy-duty vehicles with a crane or forklift, at moderate speed, and the load is securely fixed on the side of the vehicle. During transportation, the specified rules are observed in order to deliver the paving stone without damage.
