Qazpatent awarded the winners of the essay competition within the VIII "School of Young Inventor"

On December 21, within the framework of the VIII "School of Young Inventor" the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Republican competition for the best essay among schoolchildren on the theme: "The role of intellectual property in the era of development of artificial intelligence" was held. The event was attended by about 60 participants from among the capital's schoolchildren, teachers and parents.

Deputy Director of Qazpatent Aisha Zhumabekova presented certificates signed by Vice-Minister Botagoz Zhakselekova and valuable prizes to the winners and participants of the competition who took the first place, two second and three third places. In addition, 10 participants of the contest were awarded with diplomas and souvenirs of Qazpatent director Yerbol Ospanov. The results of the contest were announced on December 1 this year.

Inkara Shertysheva, Head of Development and International Cooperation Department, gave a brief overview of Qazpatent's activities to the contest participants. Inkara Shertysheva told about the work carried out by the department to stimulate creative activity among schoolchildren, popularization and dissemination of knowledge in the field of intellectual property, imparting the basics of patent culture to the younger generation.

Special guest - President of "International Center for Scientific Collaborations" Lazzat Kussainova made a report on the results of the project "Children in Science" for 2022-2023. Lazzat Abayevna told the audience that within the framework of the project, Kazakhstani schoolchildren took part in five international scientific competitions, winning 11 gold medals, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, and announced plans for 2024.

The participants also took part in an interactive quiz on intellectual property, which aroused great interest in this field among young people. The most active participants of the event were awarded with memorable gifts as a token of gratitude for their participation and activity.
