National Institute of Intellectual Property
Based on the decision of the Republican State Enterprise on the right of economic management "National Institute of Intellectual Property" of the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the service provider) on the grant of a patent and upon submission by the applicant of a document confirming payment for the services of the service provider for the preparation of documents for the grant of a patent and publication in the State Registers of Industrial Designs of the Republic of Kazakhstan information on the object of industrial property is entered.
To receive a public service, the applicant sends through the portal:
1) an application with the attachment of the documents specified in paragraph 8 of the list of basic requirements for the provision of public services "Issuance of security documents in the field of industrial property" in accordance with Annex 1, in the form of an electronic document signed by DSR. The application and the documents attached to it are submitted in Kazakh or Russian.
The application must be accompanied by:
2) an electronic copy of the power of attorney if the application for the provision of public services is submitted through a representative;
3) an electronic copy of the request for early publication, if the service provider applies for the provision of public services earlier than the time limits provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 26 of the Patent Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The deadline for the provision of public services: from the date of receipt of the application – within 10 (ten) working days.

Issuance of a duplicate patent for an industrial design
When issuing a duplicate security document:
1) an application in the form of an electronic document certified by the service recipient's DSR in accordance with Appendix 9 to these Rules;
2) an electronic copy of the power of attorney if the application for the provision of public services is submitted through a representative.
The service provider receives information about the payment confirmation document from the relevant state information system through the e-government gateway.
The deadline for the provision of public services: from the date of receipt of the application – within 10 (ten) working days.
