The International Eurasian Pharmaceutical Forum was held in Almaty, a platform for discussing topical issues of the pharmaceutical industry development, regulation of the circulation of medicines, as well as the legal protection of innovations. The forum was attended by representatives of government agencies, the pharmaceutical business, the expert and scientific community.
As part of the business program of the forum, Yerzhan Zhunisov, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Intellectual Property, made a presentation on the issues of patent protection of medicines. In his speech, he highlighted key aspects of the legal protection of pharmaceutical developments, including the specifics of patents and the relationship of patent protection with regulatory mechanisms.
The participation of representatives of Kazpatent in international industry events contributes to strengthening interdepartmental and intersectoral cooperation, as well as the formation of unified approaches to the protection of intellectual property in the pharmaceutical field.
