On October 28, Qazpatent held a webinar for researchers, grant recipients, and employees of JSC “Science Fund” on the topic “Several Aspects of Intellectual Property.”
During the webinar, participants discussed issues related to the patenting of inventions and utility models, legal protection of trademarks, geographical indications, and appellations of origin of goods, the use of industrial property objects, main forms of rights transfer, as well as matters of international patenting under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and regional patenting under the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC).
Further similar training events are planned for other stakeholders in the field of intellectual property.
