Three-day training seminar “Legal protection of inventions and utility models in the Republic of Kazakhstan”

The Qazpatent branch invites you to participate in a three-day training seminar on the topic: “Legal protection of inventions and utility models in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The seminar is aimed at improving the professional training of specialists in the field of intellectual property. Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with current issues of legal protection of inventions and utility models, international practice and modern approaches to patenting, as well as acquire practical skills in preparing applications and protecting rights.

The program will consider:

• Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international agreements (Paris Convention, Patent Cooperation Treaty, Eurasian Patent Convention); • patenting of inventions and utility models, conditions of patentability;
• International patenting and patent searches;
• Use of patent information and examination of applications;
• Licensing, commercialization and protection of patent rights.
