The IV Summer School on Intellectual Property has been successfully completed in Astana

The two-week IV Summer School on Intellectual Property, implemented with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), has ended at the Qazpatent site. The program brought together young professionals, researchers and business representatives from different regions of Kazakhstan, as well as international participants.

For the first time, the event was held in a hybrid format, which allowed attracting listeners and lecturers from Geneva, Moscow, Sejon, Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Taraz, expanding geography and strengthening international cooperation.

As part of the extensive training program, participants had a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from representatives of: WIPO, the Eurasian Patent Office, Qazpatent, patent attorneys, business, leading practitioners and teachers. Of particular value were lectures, workshops and group discussions in which participants discussed current challenges in the field of IP.

Inkara Shertysheva, Head of the Development and International Cooperation Department at Qazpatent, the organizer of the Summer School in Kazakhstan, emphasized:  

"Each participant decorated the school with their activity and initiative. I am grateful to the lecturers and partners for their contribution to the project, as well as to our team for the high level of organization."

Participants will receive international certificates confirming their competence in the field of intellectual property.

The IV Summer School has once again demonstrated its importance as an effective educational platform that promotes professional growth and the development of intellectual potential.
