Qazpatent held a series of webinars for Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools”

From 15 of October to 17 of October Qazpatent held a series of webinars for employees and teaching stuff of Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual schools” on the topic of “Legal protection of intellectual property objects”.

The webinars covered the concept and importance of intellectual property, copyright registration, legal protection of trademarks, registration of trademarks abroad under the Madrid system, patenting of inventions and utility models in the Republic of Kazakhstan, international patenting of inventions under the Patent Cooperation Treaty and regional patenting of inventions under the Eurasian Patent Convention, issues of legal protection of industrial designs in the Republic of Kazakhstan and under the Eurasian Patent Convention, legal protection of geographical indications and appellations of origin of goods, public services on industrial property objects and means of individualization, commercialization of intellectual property objects, as well as issues of intellectual property protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the future, it is planned to hold such training events for other interested stakeholders in the field of intellectual property.
