National Institute of Intellectual Property
Since 2013, every second Sunday of September in the Republic of Kazakhstan is celebrated as Family Day. On this occasion, Qazpatent awarded the honourable title ‘Kumis kerege’ to 11 families who have been married for more than 25 years.
In our society, the family has always been and remains the link between generations, the keeper of spiritual and cultural traditions. The main purpose of Family Day is to strengthen the institution of family and marriage and to popularise family values.
In addition, a competition for the best drawing on the theme ‘My happy childhood’ was organised among the children of Qazpatent employees. The participants were awarded with letters of thanks and received books and sweets as gifts.
‘Family Day promotes the strengthening of morality and spirituality, and emphasises the importance of responsible marriage in our society. Love for the Motherland begins with love for the family hearth. Upbringing received under the native shanyrak is a pledge of healthy and successful future of all our people’, - said the Director of RSE “National Institute of Intellectual Property” Y. Ospanov.
