Kazaly soap - another GI from Kyzylorda

One of the main requirements for GI registration is a close connection between the product, its special properties and the place of origin and production.

The manufacturer of Kazaly soap is located in the desert region of the Kyzylorda region in Kazalinsk, where the "sacred herb" called adyraspan/harmala grows. Kazakhs have known about the medicinal properties of adyraspan since ancient times. The stem, leaves and even the smoke of adyraspan have healing properties. Therefore, the manufacturer of the product uses cloves and adyraspan in a perfume and cosmetic mixture and produces flavored liquid soap for washing hands and dishes called "Kazaly" in volumes of 200 ml, 500 ml and 5 liters. There is a great demand for soap not only from Kazalinsk, but also from outside the region.

The region also produces solid laundry soap "Kazaly". Animal fat and bone marrow of local animals are used as the main ingredients of solid laundry soap for washing various fabrics, sanitary and hygienic and industrial products. The Aral Karakum Desert is rich in medicinal herbs: desert-resistant juniper, mullein, berry, saksaul, karasaksaul. In addition, various reeds grow near rivers and lakes along with grasses of the cereal family. Among the useful wild plants, one can highlight such as licorice, yarrow, thyme, common adyraspan, etc.

Special climatic conditions (when the summer is hot and the winter is very cold), the conditions of keeping livestock (in summer on pastures, and in winter - in special stalls), rich medicinal vegetation for food - all this affects the high endurance of animals and the rapid accumulation of fat. The breast fat of these local animals is prepared in the production shop and is used in the production of solid laundry soap, while the fat allows the soap to remain fatty, and the bone marrow gives the soap hardness. Thanks to the combination of these additives, solid laundry soap, produced in the line of 65%, 70%, 72% (weight 180, 200, 250 grams) under the trademark "Kazaly", is considered an environmentally friendly natural product with a pleasant light smell.
