On May 30, Qazpatent held a webinar for the faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic "Legal protection of intellectual property objects".
The webinar covered the issues of the Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs, registration of an application for international trademark registration, requirements for filing trademark applications, legal protection of a trademark in the Republic of Kazakhstan, legal protection of geographical indications and appellations of origin of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as intellectual property protection.
In the future, it is planned to hold such training events for other interested stakeholders in the field of intellectual property.
