In Astana, the II International Scientific Forum for Schoolchildren was held

In the period from April 11 to 13, 2024, the II International Scientific Forum of schoolchildren - winners of international competitions "Scientific education, innovation and youth - the basis of sustainable development" (hereinafter - the Forum) was held in Astana. The event is timed to coincide with the celebration of the International Day of Intellectual Property, the Day of Science Workers of Kazakhstan and the 125th anniversary of the birth of Academician Kuanysh Satpayev.

The purpose of the Forum is to popularize science, encourage children's scientific creativity, building scientific capacity and wider involvement of Kazakhstani schoolchildren in the international scientific community.

The organizers of the Forum were the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Qazpatent, the private institution "International Centre of Scientific Collaboration" (ICSC), the International Scientific and Educational Consortium "One Belt and One Road" (BRISEC).

The event was opened at the Presidential Center by Minister of Science and Higher Education - Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Justice - Azamat Yeskaraev, BRISEC President Professor - Hiang Ping Wu, ICSC President - Lazzat Kusainova. Moderators and speakers were schoolchildren - winners of international competitions.

The second and third main days of the Forum, which include training seminars from the Youth Center for Science and Education Karamay (China), were held at the Qazpatent side.

According to the results of the Forum on April 13, 2024 at Qazpatent, participants and volunteers were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation.

In total, about 700 people (online and offline) participated in the event.

Forum-2024 was held within the framework of the projects: "Children in Science" and the IX School "Young Inventor”.
