On March 14, 2024, Qazpatent held a bilateral introductory meeting with the delegation of the Water Resources Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (WRC MWRI RK) led by Deputy Chairman of the WRC MWRI RK Adilbek Aubakirov.
Qazpatent Director Yerbol Ospanov opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he emphasized the importance and relevance of the topic of development and implementation of new technologies aimed at the rational use of water resources in Kazakhstan.
Deputy Director of Qazpatent Aidyn Artykova introduced the guests to the main activities of the Office, noting that Qazpatent provides the opportunity for accelerated examination of patent applications in the areas of information and communication technologies; diagnosis, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases; as well as renewable energy sources. The parties discussed the possibility of expanding such a list by including the area of water treatment and purification.
Based on the results of the first introductory meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation in matters of stimulating invention in the field of water conservation and water treatment within their competence.
