On 6 June 2023, a webinar was held for grantees of the 2022 Call for Proposals of the Science Foundation JSC on "Legal Protection of Inventions and Utility Models".
The webinar covered the issues of existing legislation in the field of intellectual property, patenting of inventions and utility models, claims for inventions and utility models, patent information search, as well as state registers of industrial property of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The webinar participants were interested in questions on the validity of protection documents, stages of examination, existing databases for patent search and extension of protection documents.
In the future it is planned to hold such training events for other stakeholders in the field of intellectual property.
