On 12 April 2023, Qazpatent will host the International Science Forum "Girls and IP - Accelerating for Innovation and Creativity" as part of the VI School for Young Inventors.
Participants in this forum will be students from the Centres for Identification and Support of Gifted Children, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Zerde and Republican School of Physics and Mathematics schools, as well as other educational institutions in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
This is the first science forum whose speakers will be talented schoolchildren who have won various international science competitions organised by the International Centre for Scientific Collaborations (ICSC), a private institution.
On Kazakhstan Science Day and World Intellectual Property Day, we are celebrating the role of girls who are smart, inventive, curious and courageous in what they do, who make a difference in our lives and shape our future.
Every day, women are creating new inventions and developments in fields as diverse as astrophysics, nanotechnology, medicine, artificial intelligence and robotics, pushing the boundaries of our knowledge of the world.
The participants in this Science Forum and their projects inspire hope that young women from different fields will one day make our country famous on the world stage and contribute to the development of the global scientific community.
