March 9 Qazpatent held a training webinar for employees of the Department of Justice and Entrepreneurs of East Kazakhstan region.
Qazpatent experts covered the questions of legal protection of trademarks, appellations of origin and geographical indications, and also patenting of inventions and useful models.
Webinar participants were interested in the issues of registration of a trademark, the advantages of registration of geographical indications, the duration of protection documents, as well as the differences between inventions and utility models.
In the future it is planned to hold such training events for other interested parties in the field of intellectual property.
