Coordination Committee meeting of the Project for the Industrial production of regional joint patent information product of CIS countries on CD-ROM (CISPATENT)

From 08 to 09 April of this year in Minsk (Belarus) held the regular meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Project for the Industrial production of regional joint patent information product of CIS countries on CD-ROM (CISPATENT).

The representatives of the countries: Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, the Eurasian Patent Office were participated on the Coordination committee meeting.

The Deputy General Director - Head of the Center for Industrial production examination of the National Intellectual Property Center of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus A.A. Baidak come out with welcoming speech.

The meeting was opened by Head of the Coordination Committee of B.L Genin.

During the meeting they discussed a number of issues related to industrial production Patent Information Product of CIS countries on CD-ROM (CISPATENT).

The project plays an important role in the exchange of patent documents between the two countries. CISPATENT disks sent out to patent offices of USA, Canada, Austria, Germany, the Baltic countries, as well as in the European Patent Organization and the Eurasian Patent Organization.

All of the above suggests that the project is alive and constantly evolving, being one of the most successful examples of the close partnership between CIS countries.
