On May 25-26 of 2016 in Branch of the RSE "NIIP" in Almaty heldtraining seminar on "Using Thomson Innovation platform for the needs of the search and examination of applications in the RSE NIIP" for employees of the Direction on Patent Researches of Inventions and Training Center. The seminar was also attended by the employees of JSC "Scientific and Technical Information National Center." Lecturer at the seminar was made by "Manageron Business Development, Intellectual Property" of the Moscow branch of "Thomson Reuters (Markets) V. Zhukov. During the seminar, V.Zhukov gave an overview on the activities of "CA Thomson Reuters (Markets)." He stopped on the «Thomson Innovation» platform capabilities in more detail. The lecturer explained that the platform is consolidated system that includes various databases as a patent and non-patent sources. The workshop was conducted in accordance with the program: what can be done exploratory work on this platform, how to conduct a job search results. The lecturer also provided information on the analytical capabilities of the above platform, how to create a "patent landscape". During the lecturer was designated a free 2-week period of the experts of the branch of RSE "NIIP" for hands-on learning platform capabilities.
