Public hearing on the Draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improvement of legislation in the field of Intellectual Property" was held in Kyzylorda in the building of "Palace of students" on November 17 of the current year at 16:00.
The main purpose of the Public Hearing is the explanation and debates on the draft, which is of interest to citizens and business entities.
The draft law objective is to provide consistent transition to standards of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development in the area of intellectual property protection.
The public hearing was attended by law enforcement agencies, representatives of the Chamber of entrepreneurs, NGOs, rights holders, Republican public associations, representatives of government agencies and educational institutions of the region. However, the hearing was attended by the head of the department of law, international cooperation and media relations of the RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" Aidyn Kydyrbayevna Artykova and chief expert - adviser Assemgul Baktybaykyzy Abenova.
Acting Head of the Department of Justice of Kyzylorda region Tastybay Amanzholovich Lesserov was the moderator of the event. Head of the legal Department of KSU named after Korkyt ata, PhD Lyazzat Maylybayevna Karzhaubayeva made a presentation on the topic "Protection of intellectual property in KSU named after Korkyt Ata", executive director of the Association of Legal Entities "Association of Entrepreneurs of Kyzylorda region" made a presentation on the topic "Cooperation between entrepreneurs of the region with the judicial authorities". Participants of the hearings discussed the draft law and exchanged views.
In general, the draft law was supported.
