In Almaty, the Training center of the branch of RSE "NIIS" held a round table on "Innovation: improving the quality of life"

In honor of the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, 2017 in Almaty, the Training Center of the RSE "NIIP" branch held a round table on "Innovation: improving the quality of life".
The round table with a welcoming word was opened by the Director of the branch,Orynbekova Z., also made a presentation "Dynamics of Kazakhstan inventions".
The round table was attended by representatives of the Department of Justice of Almaty and patent specialists from: Kazakh National Research Technical Universitynamed after K. Satpayev, Kazakh National Agrarian University, Kazakh National Medical Universitynamed after S.D. Asfendiyarov, the Institute of Chemical Sciencesnamed after A.B. Bekturov, Kazakhstan-British Technical University, JSC "RepublicanScientific and Technical Library", Research Institute of Microbiology and Virology, Research Institute of Livestock and Feed Production and Kazakh Scientific Research Veterinary Institute.
According to the approved program of the round table, patent specialists and employees of the branch made presentations and reports:
- propaganda of raising knowledge in the field of intellectual property (J.A. Serikbayeva);
- legal protection of intellectual property of the Institute of Chemical Sciencesnamed after A.B. Bekturov (L.I. Kapustina);
- advantages of registration and protection of objects for inventions of the Kazakh-British Technical University (K.R. Omurbekova);
- information support for the protection of industrial property of the RepublicanScientific and Technical Library (T.A. Azanova).
At the meeting, participants were asked questions: on the procedure for conducting a patent search, on electronic filing of applications for industrial property. Also, questions were asked to patent experts (speakers) on the commercialization of their inventions.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their gratitude, and also for the purpose of exchanging experience on intellectual property issues, they proposed to continue the work begun jointly.
