ePCT Webinar will took place on July 5, 2017

29 маусым, 2017
For Kazakhstani applicants, the possibility of obtaining a document of title on the territory of a foreign state can be realized by filing an application in accordance with international treaties. In the field of protection of such industrial property objects, as inventions and utility models, the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) is one of the international treaties.
NIIP is the Receiving Office under the PCT procedure and it accepts, processes and sends international PCT applications to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Currently, one of the topical issues discussed by WIPO in the framework of various seminars and roundtables is the implementation of the electronic procedure of the PCT applications. In addition, a new version of the Regulations under PCT comes into force, which contains rules on the procedure for filing and reviewing PCT applications from July 1, 2017.
In connection with the growing interest of domestic applicants in filing applications under the PCT procedure, NIIP together with WIPO conducts a training webinar "Procedure for filing and reviewing applications under the PCT.
