On November 13, 2018, representatives of LexisNexis - a global supplier of patent, legal, and business information, information about organizations and individuals, and an archive of international media, visited the head office of National Institute of Intellectual Property.
LexisNexis representatives familiarized the Institute staff with presentation materials on LexisNexis work and the new PatentSight patent analytics system, which is a patent analysis tool that integrates big data of patents with information about companies and their structure. This system allows to evaluate patents on the basis of the scientifically grounded methodology of the Patent Asset Index, which reveals strong patents and gives a better understanding of competitors, customers and the dynamics of technology development.
Particular attention was paid to the practical demonstration of the solutions of LexisNexis products in the PatentSight system of patent search and analysis, within which employees of the Institute visually reviewed and conducted test searches of interest, studied charts and patent landscapes.
The event ended with a discussion of the parties, which showed a predominant interest in online analytical solutions.
