November 22, 2018 Training center of the branch of RSE "NIIS" held a seminar

On November 22, 2018 in Almaty The training center of the branch of RSE " National Institute of intellectual property "of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (branch" NIIS") held a seminar about "Concept, security and protection of intellectual property".

The purpose of this seminar is giving an explanation on the changes and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan about intellectual property.

Lecturers at the seminar were the heads of production departments and departments, chief experts and specialists of the branch "NIIS".

The seminar addressed the following issues:

- application for a patent for an invention. Conditions of patentability of the invention;

- the concept and types of trademarks, service marks. Requirements for application for registration of a trademark;

- industrial design patent;

- registration of copyright objects;

- types of contracts for using of intellectual property

The audience asked the speakers a lot of questions about:

- electronic submission of applications for copyright objects;

- terms of consideration of applications for intellectual property;

- procedures for the transfer of industrial property rights

At the end of the seminar, the participants thanked the employees of the NIIS branch for the legal explanatory work.
