December 06, 2018 the project office of the courts of Almaty held a round table with the Director of the branch of RSE “NIIP”

On December 6, 2018 the project office of the courts of Almaty hosted a round table discussion on intellectual property issues, where attended by: Z. O. Orynbekova, Director of the branch of RSE “NIIP”, who spoke with the report “Recent changes in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of intellectual property”. Also, G. U. Zhakitova, Head of the Department of patent research on inventions, Zh.E.Omarbekova, Head of the Department of analytical research on trademarks and industrial designs.

The Chairman of the judicial Board in civil cases B.B. Kaseinov made a welcoming speech. Reports of judges of Almaty city court, specialized inter-district economic court and representative of the Department of justice of Almaty in the field of intellectual property rights protection heard at the round table. Representatives of state institutions, public associations and organizations also took part in the discussion.
