Meeting between the heads of RSE "NIIP" and Astana Hub represented by the Director Yerbol Ospanov and General Director Adilet Nurgozhin took place on January 14, 2019.
During the meeting, Adlet Nurgozhin spoke about the main goals and objectives of the Technopark. He noted that by 2025 Astana Hub intends to exceed the total capitalization of graduate companies in $1 billion. The main products of Astana Hub are the Academy, which includes school of programmer, investor, trackers, startup, IT – specialists; Z - Journal – information and educational portal; #Garage – intensive three (accelerator) and six (incubator) monthly startup development programs. For the implementation of projects for all residents, Astana Hub offers investors club, holding various courses and events, assistance from experts, PR in mass media, community, networking and workspace.
In turn, Yerbol Ospanov noted that one of the priority tasks of RSE "NIIP" is patenting of IT – solutions and assisting in registration of patent rights through consultations on a systematic basis, joint training activities at the site of the Technopark with the involvement of all interested residents of Astana Hub.
Furthermore, the parties came to a mutual decision in the near future open the Front office of RSE "NIIP" on-site of Astana Hub, the main objectives will be to advise on a permanent basis on the patenting of IT – solutions, as well as assisting in the registration of applications, trademarks and other objects of intellectual property.
In addition, agreement was reached on the signing of a bilateral agreement, including a joint work plan and activities in the implementation of the tasks.
The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and mutual interest.
