On January 28, 2019, representatives of RSE «NIIP» headed by Aydyn Artykova, Head of the Department of development and international relationship held a meeting with representatives of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary» on legal protection and protection of intellectual property.
The basic directions of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary» activity under the Decree are: participation in elaboration and realization of current, long-term interindustrial programs in the field of space activity of the Republic of Kazakhstan; implementation of space technologies directed onto solving social and economic problems of the Republic of Kazakhstan; carrying out development activities in creation of space systems and complexes.
Aydin Artykova told about the main activities of RSE «NIIP», about the public services, the cost of these services, the latest changes in the legislation and the importance of the exclusive right to intellectual property. In addition, lectures on patenting inventions and utility models were delivered by Ruslan Khamitov, Head of patent examination in the field of chemistry, biology and medicine; Saltanat Umbetova – acting head of patent examination in the field of physics and engineering and Ainur Satanova, Chief examiner of the Department of formal examination of inventions and selection achievements.
Representatives of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary» were interested in patenting a number of inventions, as well as in the registration of copyright for various techniques. In turn, representatives of RSE «NIIP» expressed their intention to assist and provide legal assistance in patenting of inventions and registration of copyright.
The parties agreed on closer cooperation and on the near future. Another meeting with the strategic partner of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary» by the French company «Airbus Defense and Space».
