QAZAQ Radiosy broadcast today was dedicated to the finalists of the "Nazarbayev Fund Schools Challenge" contest

April 12 is the World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics; therefore, the broadcast of today's program “Onertapkysh/Inventor” was devoted to the Republican contest “Nazarbayev Fund Schools Challenge”, which is closely related to the aerospace industry.

The competition is held under the auspices of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Institute of Intellectual Property, as well as with the assistance of Nazarbayev University and British Cranfield University since 2017. Partners of the competition are the Samruk Kazyna Trust and the national airline «Air Astana».

The main prize of the competition is the visit of the finalists as part of the study tour of the University of Cranfield, UK.

The guests of today's broadcast were the finalists of the 2017 Competition Zhagiparova Aliya, now a student of Nazarbayev University and Akpan Dinmukhammed, a first-year student of the State University after M.V. Lomonosov. Also the organizer of the Competition - the Head of the Development and International Cooperation Department of the RSE "NIIP" Artykova Aydin took part as a guest of the broadcast.

The organizer of the Competition told about the goals and objectives of the Competition, that the Competition continues in 2019 and that regional selection rounds are being held now. The finalists of the Competition shared their impressions about the trip to Cranfield and the impact of the Competition itself on the choice of their profession. Aliya, after graduating from undergraduate studies, plans to enter the magistracy in aerospace engineering, and Dimash, following the results of the Competition, came to the conclusion that the foundation of the foundations is mathematics, namely a new direction, like mathematical physics. Each of the guys today is engaged in his own project, which may in the future make a significant contribution to the invention.
