Today, on March 1, 2021, Kazpatent held a joint online training seminar with Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University for the university's teaching staff. More than 70 participants took part as listeners from among the representatives of the A.I. Barayev Research and Production Centre for Grain Farming, the Research Institute of Forestry named after A. N. Bukeikhan, the North Kazakhstan Agricultural Experimental Station.
The experts of Kazpatent familiarized the participants about the activities of Kazpatent in general, about innovations in IP legislation, dwelt in detail on the procedures for registration of copyright, examination of inventions and utility models, noted the peculiarities of patenting selection achievements. The representative of the Ministry of Agriculture represented by Seitpenbetova Gulferuz from the Department of Patentability Examination of the RSI "State Commission for Variety Testing of Agricultural Crops" told about the examination and testing of varieties for patentability.
The audience was particularly interested in lectures on selection achievements and copyright registration. The online seminar was fruitful and in a positive mood. In the opinion of the listeners, the seminar was intense and interesting.
