Yermek Kuantyrov made a presentation at the meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On January 28, 2022, a meeting of the Public Council on the Activities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held online under the chairmanship of Serik Temirbolatov, at which the issue of the results of Kazpatent's activities for 2021 was considered.

The report was made by the director of Kazpatent Yermek Kuantyrov. In his speech, Yermek Sakenovich summed up the results of 2021 and shared the Office's plans for the current year. In particular, he noted that, despite the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, the work of the Office in 2021 was not interrupted.

The positive dynamics of electronic filing for intellectual property objects was also noted. So, in 2018, the share of electronic applications was 36.2%, in 2019 - 76.2%, in 2020 - 91.8%, in 2021 - 95.7%.

During the meeting, the participants asked a number of questions to the speaker, exchanged views, and the members of the council made recommendations, including on improving the skills of employees and strengthening the professional staff of the patent Office.
