National Institute of Intellectual Property
On May 30, 2025, employees of the Branch of the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Qazpatent), in cooperation with the Department of Science and Innovation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, held an online seminar on the topic: “Fundamentals of Patent Law in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
The main presentation was delivered by Raushan Zhetybayeva, Chief Expert of the Qazpatent Branch, who provided a detailed overview of key aspects of patenting inventions and utility models in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The seminar covered topics such as the procedure for filing applications, the process of obtaining protection documents, as well as the specifics of foreign patenting.
The event generated great interest among participants. Attendees highlighted the relevance of the topic and the practical value of the information presented.
