TISCs Staff Expands Professional Horizons: Participation in the Eurasian Patent System User Day

The staff of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) actively participated in the Eurasian Patent System User Day, organized by the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) in collaboration with the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys and the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property. Participation in this large-scale event was an important step in enhancing the professional competence of TISC staff, demonstrating their commitment to developing their knowledge and skills in the field of intellectual property.

TISC employees thoroughly studied the specifics of patenting procedures, paying special attention to the following aspects:

  • Application filing and examination procedures for inventions and industrial designs;
  • Mechanisms for maintaining and extending the validity of Eurasian patents;
  • Utilization of digital tools, such as the "EAPO-ONLINE" system and the "EAPATIS" patent-information system;
  • Procedures for challenging EAPO decisions and handling oppositions;
  • Opportunities to improve work efficiency through modern digital services.

Participation in the Eurasian Patent System User Day allowed TISC staff to:

  • Expand their knowledge of key procedures and tools used in the Eurasian patent system;
  • Strengthen practical skills necessary for providing high-quality services to TISC users;
  • Develop new approaches to consulting in the field of intellectual property, including supporting users in working with international applications and digital services;
  • Enhance interaction with representatives of the Eurasian Patent Office for further professional growth.

The event reaffirmed the TISC employees' commitment to continuously improving their qualifications and readiness to apply the acquired knowledge to enhance the level of services provided to patent system users.
