In the production of Aral soap, natural camel milk and camel fat, as well as coconut and safflower oils are used as the main ingredient. The main component reflecting the characteristics of the product is natural camel milk and camel fat from camel hump, obtained from local farms located in the city of Aralsk, Kyzylorlin region, characterised by a special composition of milk.
Camel thorn ‘Zhantak’ grows in the Aral Sea steppes. It is the camel thorn, which is eaten by camels, that makes camel milk valuable and healing. The climate in this area is sharply continental. Summers are very hot, arid, the most of the soil is clay, saline - all this creates favourable conditions for its germination. Besides, in Kyzylorda region there are other unique plants, such as wormwood, lercha, dzhuzgun shrub, koyansuek, mortuk, sedge and others, which have unique medicinal properties.
Camel milk is white in colour with a characteristic milky odour, the intensity of which is determined by feed and water quality; it is thicker than cow's milk and superior in nutritional value. Camel milk contains a significant amount of antibacterial compounds, and the number of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria is very low, which provides longer resistance to the temperature regime of milk storage. Camel milk contains more phosphorus, calcium, also the peculiarity of camel milk is relatively high fat content.
An important component of natural soap is safflower oil from the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan. Safflower oil is a rich source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. It contains linoleic, palmitic, oleic acids with admixtures of stearic, arachic and myristic acids, which are responsible for the activity of serotonin derivatives and vitamin E absorption. The oil also contains vitamin K, which is responsible for the restoration of blood vessels. The oil is very quickly absorbed and penetrates deeply into the epidermis, so it is actively used for skin nourishment. The oil is produced by cold pressing from purified safflower seeds grown on the basis of bio-organic farming methods.
