Kazakhstan Takes Part in 65th Series of Meetings of Assemblies of WIPO Member States

The official delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by Vice-Minister of Justice Ms. Botagoz Zhakselekova, is taking part in the Sixty-Fifth Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), held in Geneva, Switzerland, during the period from July 9 to 17, 2024.

The delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan includes a group of representatives from Qazpatent, headed by Deputy Director Aidyn Artykova.

According to Consolidated Agenda, the Republic of Kazakhstan hears reports from WIPO Committees, reports on WIPO audit and oversight, trends in global Intellectual property services, as well as outcome of the Diplomatic Conference to conclude an International Legal Instrument Relating to Intellectual Property, Genetic Resources and Traditional Knowledge Associated with Genetic Resources.

During the work, it is planned to hold bilateral meetings with a number of international organizations and delegations of WIPO member states.

Moreover, on the sidelines of the Assembly, the 44th meeting of the Administrative Council of the Eurasian Patent Organization will take place, and the exhibition of the Eurasian Patent Office and member states named “30 years of the Eurasian Patent Convention: a look into the future” will be organized.
