Tatyana Zhevlakova is a veteran of the patent system of the USSR and Kazakhstan.
She was one of the teachers and mentors of many specialists - patent specialists, and patent attorneys. She took part in the development of the first Patent Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She was a very respected, benevolent person. Founder of the intellectual property agency "Zhevlakova & Partners". A pioneer in the field of intellectual property protection in Kazakhstan and CIS, a professional in her field. She devoted many years of her life to working as a patent specialist in various research institutes in Almaty. In 1984 she was certified by the commission of Goskomizobreteniye USSR and the Central Council of VOIR to conduct training sessions on the subjects "Examination of technical objects for patent purity" and "Patenting and realization of objects abroad". 1969 - 1994 - worked as the head of the patent-licensing department of the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov. The number of applications for inventions filed by her amounted to about 100 applications per year, 90% of them with a positive decision to grant a patent. She was awarded a jubilee medal - 20 years of the Patent Office of the Republic.
