December 4 in the concert hall of the State Theater of Drama and Comedy named after A. Mambetov held a solemn awards ceremony for the winners of the Republican competition in the field of invention "Shapaghat-2023" and awarding the honorary title of "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition "Shapaghat" is a key event for Kazakhstan creators and innovators, which RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan have held since 2005. The main objectives of the contest "Shapaghat-2023" are to support the development of the inventive potential of Kazakhstani scientists and the outstanding achievements of domestic enterprises. So this is a unique opportunity for talented inventors and innovators to demonstrate their achievements and receive recognition of their merits.
Minister of Justice Azamat Eskaraev congratulatory speech and held an awards ceremony for inventors, presenting diplomas, statuettes "Shapaghat", and cash certificates from sponsors to the winners of the competition in the following categories:
- "Invention of the Year" - JSC "Ulba Metallurgical Plant";
- "Woman inventor" - Saule Maratovna;
- "Young inventor" - Alexander Barukin;
- "Best Innovation Company" - JSC "A.B.Bekturov Institute of Chemical Sciences";
- "Young talent" - Kydyrbai Kazybek.
The rank of "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was awarded to Nabiev Yergali. Meanwhile, five diplomas "For achievements in the field of development of innovative technologies of Kazakhstan" were awarded to young scientists in the nomination "Young talent" to stimulate the young generation to develop innovative technologies
Noting that the inventive activity in domestic science is gaining new strength, Azamat Eskaraev emphasized that the development of intellectual capital of the citizens of Kazakhstan - one of the unconditional priorities of the state, and the importance and significance of the annual Republican competition in the field of invention "Shapaghat" is only confirmed. In his speech, Azamat Yeskaraev also said that this year the contest is held for the 18th time, and during this time it has become a true celebration of inventive creativity. Every year it gathers hundreds of talented people, thanks to whom new inventions, and new technologies are created, and breakthrough projects that can change life for the better are realized.
More than two hundred inventions from more than 10 regions of Kazakhstan were submitted for participation in the competition.
The award ceremony became a point of attraction for scientists, professors, engineers, and young scientists from different regions of the country. The awarding of the best inventors was attended by the Presidential Initiatives Fund "Dara", JSC "Science Fund", NAO "International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects", and JSC "National Agency for Development of Innovations "QazInnovations".
Representatives made the congratulatory speech of sponsors: Director of Innovation of Eurasian Resources Group Kirill Ivanov, Director of Administrative and Legal Work Department of BI Group Alsenova Maria, Chairman of the Chamber of Patent Prosecutors of Kazakhstan, Deputy Director General of LLP "Intellectual Property Agency "Tagbergenova and Partners" Tagbergenova Modangul. After the awarding ceremony, a concert program with the participation of Kazakhstani stars and young musicians of the Kazakh National University of Arts was held.
