On August 29 of the current year Qazpatent's Compliance Service organized a meeting for employees on the topic "Awareness of corruption is very important". The employees of the branch office located in Almaty also joined this event through the ZOOM platform.
The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize with the provisions of anti-corruption legislation developed by the Anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including memos and notices of responsibility for corruption, as well as to conduct relevant explanatory work. During the meeting, employees were familiarized with the algorithm: how to properly report corruption, how to act if there is information about receiving or giving a bribe, and how to act if they witnessed an offense.
"Corruption is a threat to national security, the well-being of every family, the bright future of our children and the development of the country as a whole. Therefore, in any environment we should be active public in suppressing bribery", - said compliance officer of RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" of the Ministry of Justice of the RK Indira Baitasova.
