On March 29 of this year in Astana at the site of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the second Session of the Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property under the direction of the member of the Board (Minister) of Economic and Financial Policies of the Eurasian Economic Commission T. Suleimenov.
The event was attended by representatives of ECE, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Member of the Advisory Committee of the Kazakh side is the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Z. Baymoldina.
Also at the meeting of the Advisory Committee was attended by representatives of state bodies, public organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
At the meeting discussed the draft Regulation of the single customs registry of intellectual property of the CU and the CES, the draft agreement on common management of copyright and related rights on a collective basis, make recommendations to address the problems of the producers of the CU and the CES trade marks of the former USSR .
In addition, the meeting discussed the issue of the development of a unified system of the CU and the CES anti-counterfeit, smuggled and illegally produced goods in the EEA, and also discussed the development of scientific research in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in 2013 .
