The Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Strategy Kazakhstan-2050 ": a new policy of the established state" of 14 December 2012 were asked to review all previously issued patents and registered copyrights for possible commercialization.
In order to implement this Message on March 14 this year Committee on Intellectual Property Rights held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the National Economic Chamber "Atameken" on analysis of previously issued certificates of copyright objects for their possible commercialization.
During the event, participants were given lists of registered rights to the copyrighted work, for the years 2001-2012 by type of objects (works of literature, architecture, sculpture, painting, music, computer programs, etc.) to make proposals on the possible commercialization.
The meeting resulted in the decision to send a letter to the authorities, who took part in this meeting, on making proposals on the possible commercialization of the registered objects of copyright.
