On May 8, 2013 adopted Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 469

On May 8, 2013 adopted Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 469 "On making amendments and additions to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 23, 2011 № 1373"On approval of the minimum rates of remuneration the performers and producers of phonograms"(hereinafter - resolution).

Resolution is aimed to making changes and additions to the minimum interest rate performers and producers of phonograms, payable hotels, resorts, rest houses, boarding houses, regarding the calculation of interest rates on the number of technical means (another technical means instead of one square meter) and is aimed at streamlining, specification and reducing the above interest rates.

The adopted amendments are aimed at the development of the hotel business. In turn, the payment of adequate remuneration of the foregoing performers and producers of phonograms will encourage a culture in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to paragraph 2 of the resolution, it shall become effective upon the expiration of ten days from the date of first publication.
