On July 13, 2016 published the information about the patenting of a doctor from Kazakhstan Azret Yernazarov "rite of the circumcision" - sundet.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan explained that this information is incorrect. Innovative patent №31124 of 15 May, 2016 issued for Adilet Yernazarov, Azret Yernazarov, Aizhan Yernazarova not to "circumcisionrite" and to the "method of circumcision".
Different ways of circumcision registered in China, the USA, the Russian Federation patent offices and the Eurasian Patent Office.
Patent law of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not allow the granting of patents on national, religious rites and traditions. The issuance of the patent for the rite itself would mean the establishment of monopoly rights holder with the possibility of others is forbidden to conduct the ceremony. This is contrary to the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
