The roving seminar on "Invention and utility model as the objects of industrial property. Electronic filing of applications for IP objects" was held in Almaty at the Institute of Space Techniques and Technology on December 20, 2016.
According to the approved program experts of the branch "NIIP" in Almaty acted as lecturers and gave lectures on the following topics:
- Invention and utility model as the objects of industrial property in accordance with changes in the Patent Law;
- Electronic filing of applications for IP objects.
This seminar was attended by head of the sector of design and manufacturing software, laboratory of space systems of scientific purpose, sector of radio electronic security, senior researchers of laboratory of satellite navigation technologies, etc.
Seminar participants asked a number of questions regarding the registration of intellectual property, procedures for issuance of documents of title to the IP objects, copyright, term of protection of documents, transferring rights to IP objects and the benefits of applying for IP objects in electronic form.
Employees of the "NIIP" branch gave answers and explanations to questions asked by participants.
