Roving seminar on "Copyright and Related Rights. Electronic filing of applications for industrial property objects" took place in Almaty on January 11, 2017 in the building of the National Center for problems of healthy lifestyle development of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminar was attended by 21 people including Director and employees of the center.
Zh.A. Serikbayeva, chief specialist of the Training center of "NIIP" branch, delivered a welcome speech; she also gave brief information about the Training center.
According to the approved program of the seminar, employees of "NIIP" branch acted as lecturers with the following topics: "Copyright and Related Rights" (L.G. Dzhamanshalova), chief examiner of the Direction on patent research on inventions; "Electronic filing of applications for industrial property objects" (B.O. Nazarov), chief specialist of the Training Center.
Many questions regarding the registration of intellectual property objects, procedures for issuance of documents of title for industrial property objects, copyright, term of protection of documents were given by seminar participants, and more. Employees of "NIIP" branch provided answers and explanations.
At the end of the seminar participants thanked the employees of "NIIP" branch for the information on intellectual property and wished fruitful work in this field.
