National Institute of Intellectual Property
Staff of the RSE "NIIP" held a lecture session on the legal IP protection for students in doctoral studies at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 2, 2019.
Head of the Division on Development and International Cooperation of the RSE “NIIP” Aidyn Artykova made a brief overview of the main activities of the RSE “NIIP”, introduced with the current changes in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of IP protection, and provided information on statistical indicators in recent years. Issues of copyright registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan were highlighted by the Head of the Copyright Division of the RSE “NIIP” Altynay Taisheva.
The State Institution "Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 4, 2015. The Academy is endowed with a special status of an educational organization, the main focus of which is the improvement of the personnel of law enforcement agencies and the strengthening of the role of legal science in ensuring legality, law, order and the fight against crime.
Training session was held in the dialogue format. At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed a wish to continue cooperation in this direction and to organize such events in the future.
