April 24, 25, 26, 2019 the training center of the branch of RSE “NIIP” held a three-day seminar dedicated to the celebration of International Intellectual Property Day

On April 24, 25, 26, 2019, the Training Center of the branch of the RSE “National Institute of Intellectual Property” held a three-day seminar dedicated to the celebration of World Intellectual Property Day. The topic of the training seminar was “Legal Protection of Industrial Property Objects”.

The seminar was attended by representatives of organizations: JSC "National Scientific Cardiac Surgery Center" ( Nur- Sultan), JSC "Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education", JSC " Almaty Technological University", JSC "Institute of Metallurgy and Enrichment", RSE L.N.Gumilyov "Eurasian National University "( Nur- Sultan), RSE "National Center for Complex Processing of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan", RSE "International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yassavi "(Turkestan), "Kazakh Research Institute of Processing and food industry" LLP, “Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing" LLP, "CBS Partners" LLP, "Water Oil Gas GROUP" LLP, “Grata Law Firm“ LLP, “Legalmax Central Asia” LLP.

In the framework of the main part of the seminar, lectures on industrial property objects (inventions, utility models and industrial designs) were given. The branch experts examined issues concerning the invention as objects, substance, method, structure and application, and also covered issues of patent information and documentation, judicial practice on industrial designs, examples of litigations on registered industrial designs, protection of a selection achievement, use of rights and electronic filing of applications for industrial property.

At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
