National Institute of Intellectual Property
On May 24, 2019, Departments of Intellectual Property and Expert Organization, as well as RSE National Institute of Intellectual Property and RSE Center for Judicial Examinations held a round table on expert activities in the field of intellectual property.
Topics for discussion were judicial research and analysis of trademarks in order to determine identity, similarities to the degree of confusion among similar designations.
Participants of the round table marked objective and comprehensive approach to research. The parties discussed problematic issues in this area and possible solutions.
In addition, using the example of various trademarks, experts studied methods and approaches used by expert organizations in the course of their expert activities.
According to the results of the meeting, representatives of the government decided to continue work on improving the level of expert services provided by the RSE NIIP and RSE CJE by harmonizing some issues of the abovementioned examinations with one subject of research.
