On July 31, 2019, the training center of the NIIP branch held a seminar for«British American Tobacco Kazakhstan Trading LLP»on the subject of "Trademarks as means of individualization. Types of contracts and use of rights to industrial property objects".

The seminar was attended by the chief expert of the Department of Analytical Studies on Trademarks and Industrial Designs GorbunovaT., who spoke about trademarks and service marks, types of trademarks and the requirements for them, about the application procedures, explained in detail the violations of other people's trademarks, Head of the Training Center Serikbaeva Zh.spoke about the types of contracts and the use of rights to industrial property.
The event was attended by employees of the Corporate Affairs Department of the company.
Seminar participants asked many questions regarding protection, trademark infringement, advantages of the Madrid system for the international registration of trademarks, public trademarks, formal and full examination of a trademark, types of contracts and their use.
