On February 25-26, 2020, in Minsk, Belarus, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), held a regional workshop “Intellectual Property in the Modern World: New Challenges”.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss modern issues of education and training in the field of intellectual property; cooperation of science and industry; practices and issues of valuation and accounting of intellectual property in the Republic of Belarus, as well as issues of protecting intellectual property rights and data security in the context of global digitalization.
The National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan at this event was represented by Darkhan Nygmetov,Head of the registration of contracts for the disposal of rights to industrial property. Darkhan Nygmetov took part in two round tables “A fair balance of interests: problems of copyright holders and the public”, “Intellectual property in modern economic and technical environment”.
