NIIР continues the series of workshops “Young inventor school”

On February 28, representatives of the RSE “NIIP” held a workshop for students in grades 8-10 of school-gymnasium No. 3 of the city of Nur-Sultan.

Aydin Artykova, Head of Development and International Cooperation Division told students that such an invention that relates to the results of intellectual activity, anyone can become an author of such results and what you need to do, what rights and responsibilities are at the users of intellectual property and how they can use these objects, without violating the legitimate interests of their respective owners.

Inkara Shertysheva, Deputy Head ofDevelopment and International Cooperation Divisiontold the audience about the competitions, whichRSE “NIIP”held annually in the framework of the forum “Shapagat”. At the end of the performances, a film screening of the “Nazarbayev Fund Schools Challenge” contest was screened.

The students were very active in asking questions regarding the protection of intellectual property, the use of copyright and inventions, as well as competitions held by RSE “NIIP”.

Recall that in the framework of the Year of Volunteer, the RSE “NIIP” launched a series of training workshops “Young inventor school” in order to stimulate and support the intellectual potential of Kazakhstani schoolchildren. The first workshop for metropolitan high school students took place on February 3, 2020 on the basis of the RSE “NIIP”, which was attended by 150 students of the city of Nur-Sultan.

RSE “NIIP” plans to conduct training on intellectual property as part of short courses and an annual program.
