In accordance with theRulesfor conferring the title “Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the acceptance of applications for participation in the competition is open. Applications are accepted until May 1, 2021 by e-mail:i.shertysheva@kazpatent.kz.
The title is awarded based on the results of a competition held by an expert organization annually in the second quarter. The working body of the commission is an expert organization (RSE "NIIP").
The application shall be initiated by:
1) state bodies;
2) scientific organizations or public associations;
3) enterprises, institutions or organizations that have introduced the invention(s) into production.
The application shall be accompanied by:
1) a copy of the document certifying the identity of candidates;
2) reviews, referee reports and other materials on the most important and widely used inventions.
When considering applications, the Commission shall take into account the following criteria of significance of the candidate's contribution to inventive activity:
1) the total number of received and valid patents for inventions, as well as author's certificates;
2) results of implementation and application of the most important and widely used patented inventions in various sectors of the economy (reviews of enterprises (institutions, organizations), persons engaged in scientific or technical activities, acts on implementation of the invention);
3) the number of registrations for the transfer and/or grant of the right to use the invention.
The submitted applications shall be considered within ten working days from the date of their receipt by the Commission.
With regard to the person(s) with the highest number of points, including the candidates with the same number of points, the Commission shall decide on the conferring of the title(s).
The management of the authorized body or other officials shall present the diploma and the memorial tape "Honored Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan" to the Honored inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
