The Director of Kazpatent Yerbol Ospanov took part in the International Assembly of young inventors of the EAEU countries in Veliky Novgorod, Russia, on May 20, 2021. The organizers and partners of the event are WIPO, EAPO, RSAIP, FIIP, as well as the Association of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC).
For the first time, the Assembly brought together young inventors from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Belarus and Armenia at a single conference platform.
Multiple winner of the Eurasian Patent Universiade, the delegate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sanat Seitov, presented his project "Agricultural robot for the detection and control of plant diseases" at the International Exhibition of innovative projects of young inventors of the Eurasian region and received high ratings and positive reviews.
The finalists of the Universiade were congratulated by the President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) S. Tlevlesova, presenting the well-deserved awards.
Yerbol Ospanov in his report spoke about the support of invention among the younger generation in Kazakhstan, focused on the ongoing events aimed at developing creative thinking among schoolchildren and students.
It should be noted that in 2019 Sanat Seitov won the Eurasian Patent Universiade "Looking into the Future" with the project "A robot specializing in sowing green manure crops to combat desertification in the Republic of Kalmykia." In 2020, being a graduate student of the Department of Agroeconomics of the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University, Sanat won the Bayer competition (a competition aimed at supporting talented young people of agronomic universities in Russia).
During the Assembly, Kazakhstani guys Diana Yerzhanova and Yessengeldi Mussatay, who won prizes in the Universiade, were also noted.
